Losing my Religion Notes:
·
This performance was for the CD
Launch of the Dufflebags new album, For our Sins. ·
For this concert The Dufflebags
had two guests, Peter Cornelius (Guitar / L Vocals on I Wouldn’t Go Back) and
Alan Howlett (Melodeon on A Life in Black and White, Walk in the Sun, I Wouldn’t
Go Back & What Colour is the Wind?) ·
The story was something Martyn
included in the set on the day and got from the Albion Christmas Band’s show
the night before. ·
Aside from Peter Cornelius, Andy
Stevens helped out on sound. Andy, a good friend of Graham Pickard and The
Cornelius Family is a musician himself and can be heard performing solo and with
local folk group, Sean and Heard .Sean & Heard THE

Go Buddy Go Notes:
·
This performance was for
the students of the Marjon University, who had all undertaken a Teacher Training
course and were being presented with medals for their achievements. ·
From
about 4 songs in the evening turned into more of a glorified practice session
for the band, rather than a proper gig. Students, who had come for the meal and
the presentations began to leave as the music started, not wanting to stay up to
watch a live band. By the start of set 2 there was only one table of 4 left
watching us, enjoying their own private band playing. ·
Because
of lack of support the band took out some of the planned songs and also swapped
some old songs for new ones they weren’t going to perform. ·
There
were 5 new songs premiered but these are not referenced until the December 7th
Showman gig (see below).
